Riveting into Autumn.

She’s a clever girl, the wife. Not content with her new found skills with the nailing gun and the angle grinder, she has now become accomplished at inserting rivets! Some of our rails for the plasterboard (incidentally I note she says the end is in sight for plasterboarding but we still have several acres to complete), were a few inches, sorry, centimetres, too short. No problem for wonderwoman. After a few seconds of tutorial she was in full flow-dashing away with the riveting iron, and we had all the extra lengths we needed. I haven’t yet taught her the gentle art of welding, but no doubt she will manage that as well, and I will be despatched to do the menial household task such as cooking and ironing!
