Au revoir la cabine!

Back in November the arrival of la cabine was the symbolic start to our work. The place of lunching for our masons. Since then, it has been well used by varying numbers from 12.00 midday dead on the dot until about 13.15. Apparently it is now required elsewhere and now the weather is better our chaps are to fend for themselves without the protection of the white box on wheels… So, without warning, Vincent turned up, hitched it up to a van, and off it went into the evening sun. Farewell la cabine.

Also, today was the last day for the carpenters. The floors are finished, the dormer windows done, the chimneys lined and all dodgy tiles replaced. A very impressive team – au revoir les charpentiers et merci…
