Controle Technique success!

Feeling slightly apprehensive, Roger wrapped up well (about 5 layers!) and headed off to Dange this afternoon in his old car…

A last check of all the bits before departure – the windscreen wipers almost worked – but then as he doesn’t have a roof he is not likely to go out in the rain and therefore unlikely to need them! Apparently the chap carrying out the CT (French equivalent of the MOT) was quite taken by the car. The lights weren’t quite right, but as he said, it was an old car, so it wasn’t a problem… Ah, so that’s how so many old wrecks get through the test here!

Anyway – he returned triumphant. The CT was the last remaining obstacle to getting the car registered in France. Roll on summer!
